A/C not working. Need help
Hey guys so here's my predicament. Originally my AC crapped out one day out of the blue it was working perfectly before. Once it crapped out, only hot/room temperature air was blowing out of the vents. When I checked under the hood, I noticed that my two fans weren't spinning when I had the AC on which usually they do. So after doing some online research, nothing helped out so I went to my local mechanic. I had like an ounce of Freon in my car which he said was really low so he charged my AC and went on my way. AC was working fine out of the shop but by the next morning it wasn't blowing out cold air anymore. I checked under the hood and saw that the fans were now working when I had my AC on. I brought my car back to the mechanic for him to check it out and he said that he couldn't find any leaks but my fan housing damages my AC line a little bit and thats the only problem he could think of with the AC. I'm waiting on the part to arrive to his shop currently. My question is do you guys think replacing this line will do the trick or could it be something else. Here's a picture of the damaged line. For background info I own a 04 Civic Ex with just about 100k miles on it.
If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

I checked under the hood and saw that the fans were now working when I had my AC on.
I would TEST:
Relay for the clutch
power to, and resistance of, the clutch coil
and inspect/measure the clutch air gap

That photo of leaking refrigerant looks like the top of the AC receiver dryer. I had to change this out 3 years ago because it leaked and had no or little A/C, if I recall correctly.
