2015 Civic Passenger Airbag Light
2015 Civic Passenger Airbag Light
Is it normal for the passenger airbag light (white light) to be on on the information display- it doesn't say on/off? its just says passenger airbag when no one is in the seat.

Not normal. (Probably...got a pic?)
Make sure nothing is in the buckle, as that can trip the 'passengers airbag off' light. I've seen overweight people who use a seat belt extender have the same complaint when the extender is left stuck in the buckle.
Also, setting your stuff in the passengers seat can cause lights to come on.

I see...The words lit up is just illumination, same as the rest of the dash lighting. The word OFF lights up for 2 seconds as a bulb test, then goes out as long as the control unit sees normal conditions.
