Car feels slower?

So I bought a 93 DX hatch with a b20b and a magnaflow catback exhaust already installed with a lot of other mods. When I got it, it was fast and had a really loud exhaust but one day I was driving and the bolts that hold the exhaust and the header together broke. I noticed the sound changed and sounded more muffled? the car was also feeling a bit weaker not sure if it's in my head. I took care of that problem and it still feels slower than when i got it and the sound hasn't changed back to normal any thoughts?

Cat broke apart, clogging the exhaust?

Did a shop do the exhaust? If so, go back there

I bolted it back together with a gasket as well but just to make sure I brought it to an exhaust shop and he welded a flex pipe so it wasn't so stiff. He didn't say anything about the part I bolted back together. I'll probably end up taking it to MIDAS for a diagnostic.
