taking the bumper off os no prob. The thing I am worried about is breaking the unit when trying to separate the pieces. I work for honda and believe me the factory units are not cheap even at my discount! No Room for ERROr

Ok, let's end this right now... newbie... SEARCH, SEARCH,SEARCH... the answer is SEARCH. The key to life is SEARCH. You're mommy and daddy want you to SEARCH. If you want to prevent getting flamed, SEARCH
buy the aftermarket clear headlights i got them n they look really nice...... i tried to clear them ouut after i changed it and it was pretty easy but i wouldnt want to risk it if i didbt already have the headlights
15 mins for bumper removal (now 5 mins)
2 mins or so head light removals
40 + mins for first headlight cleared and re sealed
25 mins for second light (learned how to use my friend the hair dryer )
10 mins everything back
had another friend helping me. First thing i ever did to my car....
the process of separating the headlight
heat edges with blow dryer have friend help you seperate as your heating the glue with the hair dryer go slow take your time (use screw dryer to help you seperate)
watch and make sure you dont get any crap on the chrome its a bit ch to clean. everything else should be covered in the DIY ~~

Why buy them? Just clear them yourself. I just did it, and it was extremely easy and I broke nothing. Just make sure to use plenty of sealant at the end so no water leaks in. You can seriously screw up your lights if their is any holes in the sealant.

I just cleared my sedan headlights last weekend...Taking off the bumper was no problem..the problem was taking the headlight apart..The stuff they use to hold the sedan lights is hella stronger than the stuff they use for the coupes...O yea i also blaack housed my headlights..Looks CraZy..HAVe FUN..>DONT GIVE UP!!

GOOD LUCK
LOL well I did mine and sealant I found was the only big thing I worried about and still am. I still am hoping they don't leak resealing would suck again. But no problems yet

it probably takes 25-30 min. (working time) to do it all. taking the bumper off takes about 2 mins, the light off 45 seconds apeice, and then about 2 min to take each light apart then a few seconds to pop out amber inserts, put them back together and all silicone, let stand for about 30 min to let silicone set, and then reassemble. i did it before i had ever heard about this site, no DIY help or anything. one tip about taking them apart. i know others did it with sedan lights, but i also did this with my coupe lights. put your oven on lowest temp setting (about 200) let it start to get warm. put your whole assembly in the warm oven for about 30 seconds to a minute. i wouldn't reccomend any longer though. but the point of putting them in the oven is to heat up the factory sealant. then just pull apart. saves the hair dryer hassle. *NOTE* apply silicone pretty liberally.
