ankurdabas is an unknown quantity at this point

unusual engine rattle .. at idle . 2008 ex

I heard this rattling noise .. low in volyme but amnoying ..

Noise was coming behind engine block ..

When i press the engine block firmly by hand . It goes away and when i release my hand it comes back again ..

Not noticalbe at high rpm and cold starts ..

Goes away as soon as i hit gas paddle

Check the gap on your passenger side motor mount.... it think it says 1cm gap.

Its less than 1 cm ..
And god m sure its gone again ...

btw it was my 3rd hydraulic mount

Is this is a different noise than the one you were complaining of in the other 3 posts you made, that the mods had to keep merging into the original post?

Can't be sure of anything, minus death and taxes....

What did it sound like when the other multiple mounts failed ??

In previous mounts it had excessive vibration in reverse at cold start up .
And thud noise on bumps..

This time there is a vibration but not as louder as previous .
It goes away when i press on the block firmly ..

I m in doubt if its just a loose part rattling .. things there are very conjusted ..
Cant peek back there bhind block and cnt evn reach my hand ..

The noise at 0:09 and so .

I'm not a mechanic....have watched it a few times and I hear nothing at 09 or 1:13. Japanese engines make some strange sounds at times. My 2010 is no different.

have You checked the heat shieds that are found around the
catalaytic converter for loose fitting.? if they are loose it will vibrate
making a loud noise.
