Talking CIVIC Newbie with some simple Questions

I just bought a 1998 Civic EX coupe automatic with 236,900 miles. One owner car, seems to run pretty well. Has a check engine light took it the the amazing tech at autozone they said it will need a catalytic converter and it said transmission is out of its shift range. It seems to be shifting perfectly Also and big question here, I have 18s from my old car with universal rims will they fit it was on a 5X110 before.

Welcome

What was the code? Scanner doesn't read "needs new cat"

The wheels will not fit. Your bolt pattern is 4x100.

Welcome!

What was the actual code number?

Will your 5x110 bolt pattern wheels fit on a 4 bolt car?

Do you have 5 bolt wheels on your car now?
Thank you for the warm welcome and quick response I had 5X110 on my soul, which is what is was on before and I've never had a 4 bolt wheel in my life but these are universal and the seller seemed to think it would fit I'm going to upload a picture and as for the code it's in thus car which is 30 miles away but I will get it hopefully tomorrow.

Re: CIVIC Newbie with some simple Questions

When they say its universal they don't mean bolt number wise. If it's 5 bolt universal than usually it's the 5x110 pattern or the 5x100 (Honda Toyota etc). Same with the universal 4 bolt patterns 4x110 and 4x100 (Honda Toyota etc)
The 1970-2005 had the 4x100 bolt pattern unless the 5 bolt pattern conversion was made.
