Sooo for my 04 civic.... on a whim.. i ordered hsd's locally a few weeks ago and received the hsd hr for ep3's. I had my friend install them while I was with him, n everything went fine. Now... I don't know what went wrong, but I hear hella clunking. I hear it in my trunk somewhere near the top of the strut, but it's more audible when I got an empty car. & i can hear it in the fronts as well. I read somewhere (probably on here) about the stiffness being more so because of the ep3's having k20's, so I'm wondering if the lack of weight could cause this.

& just a couple days ago, i read a discussion where someone said HSD's would fit a 7th gen civic.... with a washer.. because civic/el use a 14mm bolt and dc5/ep3 use a 16mm bolt. ? can anyone chime in on this, if we should've used washers because everything seemed to fit perfectly fine

Also, the damn dampening ***** are retardedly close to my CV boots. Is there any actually way to lower it anymore without them making contact because, frankly.. i don't think i'm low enough.

never heard of hsd so either post pics or a link cuz i ain't searching. 04 civics have 16mm front crash bolts.

WTF is HSD? I know I'm a little out of the loop here with stuff since I haven't driven my civic in almost a year but I've never heard of HSD. Did you read any reviews before you bought them? It could be crash bolts or it could be they aren't indexed properly.
