Can't Fill Gas Tank
Can't Fill Gas Tank
I have a 2005 Civic SE. For the last week I can't seem to put more than a couple of dollars worth of gas in the tank at a time. Doesn't matter what gas station I use, it seems to clearly be an issue with the car. Anyone know what it may be or has had this problem as well?
Re: Can't Fill Gas Tank
You should be more specific: how many miles have you gone through in the current tank when you fill up? Is it the nozzle's automatic shutoff thing or can you physically not put anymore gas in it? You can get around the auto shutoff if you hold the trigger lightly.

I'll guess.....
"Canister Vent Shut valve" stuck closed, or... maybe frozen water in the vent hose (depending on the temperatures there), or some other obstruction to the tanks' vent system.
