I just bought a new 2013 4 door civic. I ordered the factory spoiler and had to wait a week for the dealer to install it. All went ok but I just realized that when I apply the brake pedal only the 3rd brake light works on the spoiler and not at the original 3rd brake light location behind the rear window. Should both the original 3rd brake light AND the 3rd brake light on the spoiler be working at the same time? Any information would be appreciated. When I opened the trunk I noticed nothing was plugged in at the original 3rd light location.

Only the spoiler light is supposed to work after installation. The light in the window is disconnected. (The bulb and socket might still be in place though.)

The 2 pin connector that WAS plugged in to the original center brake light is now connected to the brake light wire harness from the new spoiler.
