Re: Melted Brake Master Cylinder cap!?!?!

The two wires are for a sensor in the cap, the monitors the brake fluid level, i bet with the wires disconnected the brake light on the dash will be on (!) . . .

I would replace it and are the wires disconnected on the cap side or main harness side ?I am not certain were they go from the cap but I sure some one can look it up

Found this pic of how it connects, maybe your wires fell down behind the strut tower area.

No brake light now, Thinking about just getting a Chrome cover to keep moisture out, since it seems like it doesn't effect the braking on the car.

Re: Melted Brake Master Cylinder cap!?!?!

Found the connectors, they was down beside the inner fender. But since I have no problems with the brakes, lights ect. I decided to save $30 and just filled the whole that was in the cap with some 60 Second epoxy nice water proof fix.

I actually had a 99 in this morning, thought about taking a pic of the wires on it.
