Back to stock suspension

So my Progress coilovers are getting too much for my back pains after a few years. I'm going back to stock. I have these little metal ***** (ball bearings?) that I don't know where it goes. I'm guessing it goes in between parts 7 and 9 but i'm not sure. Can anyone clarify this for me. Also I forgot which parts I need to grease up as well. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Back to stock suspension

hey fallout! whats going on man. good to see a fellow social old time member back here.

as for you question, what year civic do you have? because the 01-02 bearings are different than the 03-05.

the picture you showed us are for the 01-02 civic suspension. they are plastic bearings (the 02 was later upgraded to metal) but they are still not conventional ball-like.

the 03+ has ball bearings inside a housing.

let me know and ill further help you out.

Re: Back to stock suspension

It's good to be back. It's been a while, busy with work and the kids and all.

The Civic is an 04 and the bearings are metal. I got this pic from MajesticHonda, supposed to be off an 04+ model. Not sure if they use the same picture for all models.
But on top of part 7, there is a groove or slot that the ball bearings could go inside, but i'm not 100% sure where it goes.
