The 8th gens have some fans that won't always start. Take out the cabin filter and you can see the white blades and spin them by hand (fan on, in low speed) to see if it starts running.

ok i recently bought a 2001 honda civic lx 4 door, everything is fine with it except my cruise control, i press the button labeled "cruise control" next to the steering wheel on the left side a little lower closer to the brakes, the light on the dash which if i recall correctly is right above the fuel gauge also lights up saying cruise control, then i accelerate to the speed i want and press set, and nothing, i end up decelerating and not remaining at the speed i desire. what can be the problem?
