DOHC ZC & D17a2 Tranny?
are these parts compatible? I have an 03 civic ex with the d17a2 and i have and opportunity to get a free dohc zc engine, can i just drop it in with the d17 tranny and maybe change the ecu is basically what i'm asking?

if the engine is older than the shell, ye will have trouble with the law

ZC wouldn't work with a D17a2 transmission either, not anywhere near worthwhile.
