Speaker size of 2005 civic EX special edition coupe

Speaker size of 2005 civic EX special edition coupe
I've seen other post that say the fronts are 6x5 and rear is 6x9 while others say they are all 6x5. I first tried to get them through crutchfield , because they usually know all and will give the right kits to make the speakers fit. They only had the sedan 05 SE on their site so I ask an advisor if they were the same(cause why would I buy speakers that don't fit my car?) and this is what they said :
ME:When i go to select my car, everything is fine until the last selection. I have a 2005 honda civic special edition coupe . The options wont let me choose coupe it just goes straight to sedan. So my question is are the speakers the same? I dont want to buy some for the sedan only to find out they dont fit my coupe.

It's likely that the stereo is the same in 2-door versus 4-door, but it's very likely that the speakers will be completely different. You may want to check with a local installer.

Me:Is there no way for you guys to figure this out? I find it hard to believe I'm the only one with a 2 door Honda civic SE who has tried to get speakers from here. No one has asked this question before? I don't think a local installer will have more resources at their disposal for finding the difference between a 2 door and a 4 door car than the experts at Crutchfield. I would like to buy from you guys as I have always done in the past.

Use the SEARCH button. This has been covered multiple times. You'll see that 6x9 fit your car but that the mount depth is extremely shallow so 99% of speakers won't fit. Search around for exact measurements.

6x9 in the back 6.5 in the front. you can fit any speaker you want in you car as long as you get a speaker adapter which you will need.

Fronts are 5-5.5. I bought 6.5s and had to cut the hole a bit bigger to fit them in. Work great though. And scrap the shitty torsion bars and get some shocks. I got whatever 6x9s I wanted ^__^
