Low beam problem

Folks - I'm having a problem with the low beam headlights on my Civic. My car is an '03 EX sedan 5-sp manual. Today when I drove the car I noticed that the low beam weren't working (the high beams/flash to pass works properly). I looked at both headlight fuses under the hood and both appear to be good. Although there is space for 2 headlight relays, there's only one relay, which is in the relay #2 position.

I know it's possible that both low-beam filaments could've be burned out, but I just wanted to get some thoughs from some of you.

My plan is to swap out the headlight bulbs this evening.

Some people will go to a lot of trouble to complicate simple stuff. I know I have.

Check the simple stuff first.

Re: Low beam problem

I know I am possibly going the complicated route, but, Honda has a recall on our head light switch...apparently the head lights go out without warning...call them and ask...can't hurt

Oh yeah, DUH!
Problem: The USA recall is on 01-02, not 03 Civic.

Doesn't mean it couldn't still be a problem though. CRVs do it too and they aren't part of the recall.

Re: Low beam problem

If you're gonna replace, go with the sylvania 9006 (don't quote me on the number)? I believe, Advance has them for $45.

They are the nice bright ones
