Replaced upstream o2 sensor now a hiss sound when I accelerate
I've got a 2004 honda cixic ex. Replaced upstream 02 sensor and now everytime I accelerate there is a hiss sound on the higher side of the rpms. Any ideas.
If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Is the hiss noise coming from the sensor you replaced, and if so, it the new sensor tight? Did you take apart anything else besides the sensor itself?
If the noise comes from elsewhere, where is it coming from?

It does sound like its coming from the area of the 02 sensor. I havnt checked to see if I could tighten it but I will take it apart again and reinstall it this weekend. I didn't know if anyone else has had this problem. When I tightened it nefore it was nice and tight but ill try anything.
