i have a 2005 honda civic ex, my car started idling and the neddle went up past the boat but didnt reach the red line. i just had a oil change and had the water pumped replace brand new as well as the timing belt. so when i turn on the car it makes a werid sound as makes a werid noise coming from under the hood.it also shakes a lilttle not viloently thank god,only when u turn it on and push the gas pedal.i ve never had that check engine light on and is always on top of my car.what can this be? please type me back.

only a code reader can tell you whats wrong and most auto stores check it for free.

:cel:yea ive called pepboys and charge $90.00 and the other auto places and they charge $.but thanks though.didnt have this problem till i took it to the this place and had the oil changed.

by posting more and how much time you spend on the site. autozone and oreilly scan it for free. or you can buy a code scanner for $40 on ebay and check yourself.

Just go to either of those shops and ask to borrow the ODB. Plug it in and let the scan run & write down the codes. Then come back here as there is a thread dedicated to all of the codes. Then ask Gearbox what to do because well, he pretty much knows everything there is to know about these cars.

Sounds like you're new timing belt is off time. Very common problem when doing a timing belt change
