If you dont want to replace the blues you could get some kybs. But everyone seems to say tokico is the way to go. How much is your car lowered? That must be a lot of stress to blow those

Sounds like you bought AllensEm2's former parts..
Replace the front tokicos, then sell the skunk2s and get ground controls or at least put eibach or swift springs on the sleeves.

Ground controls are good, got them on my car. but the bolts to loosen the adjuster was rusted like crazy. bent the allen socket i was using and ripped the head off the other one. there should be an easier way...

I just ordered a set of GC's so I'm curious about this as well, because I'm going to be using my stock shocks as well, until they blow...if they aren't blown already..then switch to something better. Because suspension is the area I have the least knowledge in, knowing what shocks to buy are just the start of my questions regarding what I need when I lower my car and *hopefully* prepare it for some novice auto slalom....but that's for another thread; I'm not gonna be a thread jacker lol.

You also need to be the original purchaser of the shocks, same goes for konis warranty program.

what you do is buy a new set of blues. wait a while, and claim ur blown blues under warrenty....

never tried the blues, so cannot compare. KYB AGX does good for me, but i don't mind stiff ride. Adjustables i believe are best if you know how to adjust them (not about turning the *****, but butt feeling on the car reactions, i mean :P)
