Feel kinda dumb for asking this....

Just bought a 95 hatchback 5spd MT. I had to purchase it very quickly from a friend of a friend who was moving. I didn't pay much for it but I never found out from him what the trim was or what type of engine is in there. How can I determine this other than by taking it to a Honda dealer? I've seen things like D15B2 and D16...I'm assuming those are engine sizes? Any info would be awsome! Thanks.

check the engine block for a plate or stamp with the engine size. or assuming the engine is the original, the VIN number will tell you which car.
