i have a 93 civic cx and i did a motor swap to the b7. My check engine light is showing bad map. Well i looked under the hood and no map. i researched online and i guess the cars that had the b7's the map was on the firewall. So then i bought a map sensor and now i cant find the plug. i read online the firewall map sensor has it own harness that goes through the firewall and doesnt connect to the engine harness. What should i do so i can plug a map up.

You could try calling Honda but, I've pretty much lost confidence in the dealers.

May want to go to the salvage yard and pull one.

Did you use a B7 harness? It may be on the B7 harness.

yes i used the b7 engine harness but like i said i did research and it said its nopt connected to the engine harness it goes in directly through the firwall and to the ecu. So do i need to run the sensor directly to the ecu? If so i have no clue where to slice in.

I would try to get one at the salvage yard first. As to making your own harness I'll do some research and get back to ya. I know you'll need connectors to make the harness tho.

k and ya that would be great. Are the interior harness just about the same on the cx and dx length wise. If i bought inside harness i could just swap it out than i would have the connector unless it less pain to create my own harness.
