Has anyone replaced their front wheel hubs before?

I found a guide but damn thats a lot of steps. How hard is this to do? I heard you actually have to remove your ball joints first? I did my rears, they werent too bad to get off but do you know if the fronts are much harder to do? The rears only took me 30mins a side, I was told the fronts take 1.5hrs for one! But not sure if thats true or not.

It can be difficult. You can pull it off with a slide hammer or hub puller, 15 minutes per side, from the time you jack up the car to the end. However, if your hubs are stuck on, like mine typically are, 1.5 hours to remove the knuckle from the control arm, and press out the hub is normal. No, you don't have to remove the ball joint first.

It's not that hard, comparable to changing a front strut in difficulty.
