04Civic-Interior & tail lights dont work/brake & headlights do. Checked fuses & bulbs

- Car: 2004 Honda Civic EX Coupe
- Lights that don't work: Interior lights and tail lights
- Lights that do work: Brake lights and head lights
- Checked fuses and bulbs on all lights that I could find the fuses for.
- Turn signals flash when using them, but they don't stay on when turning the lights on.
- No light flash when I use the remote to lock or unlock the car.
- Yes, I did check and know for a fact that the brake lights and tail lights are the same light bulb (several people have told me that they are two separate bulbs).

I took it to Autozone after I notice the problem today and they said it could be a wiring problem, but that wasn't much help. Yesterday I was fiddling around with my after-market stereo system to make sure all the wires were connected cause I lost sound to some of my speakers for two seconds on two separate occasions in the past month. So is there some wires in there that I could have possibly disconnected or broke while fiddling with the dash and center console? The only other problems I've had with the car is that all four cylinders misfired several times in the same hour back in January, but I haven't had a problem with that since it happened (any ideas on that too with regards to a sound system or too many electrical appliances? lol). I also don't understand all the different symbols for the fuses. If it says name (right headlight) or is something that is on the inside dash (like the high beam sign) then I know what it is, otherwise I'm lost as to what it is.

Side note: I also just got out of college and currently working two jobs so any suggestions on how to fix this problem myself or for cheap would be great cause I don't really have the money to spend on something I can do myself.

Any connections made to illumination should be take loose and ends isolated. Any connections that lead to RED or RED/BLK on the factory wiring side. (Tail & Dimmer)

Check "Small Lights" fuse in under-hood box.

check your fuses again. all of them. its not the tail lights fuse that is causing it. this happened to me before more than once when my interior lights went oiut when i was messing with my head unit. check for the radio fuse under the hood (should be a blue one). you might want to check your wiring for the your radio too.

Checked radio wires and changed the "Small Lights" fuse and all is better. Thanks a million. I just wished the guys at Autozone could have suggest other fuses to check.
