Supercharged Accord in Hondatuning Magazine

Hee, did anyone see the new Comptech supercharged Accord in Honda Tuning Magazine ? I'm in love with that car now. I even think I like it more than the RSX-S. Don't get me wrong, I still like our own rides, coz they're affordable. But if I ever get the chance to spend more, the RSX-S or Accord Coupe are on the top of my list.
But anyway, the story about the J32 series engine sounds very much like our own. They are good engines from the factory but if you want a bigger boost, Nitro is about your only option. But when Comptech received 30 emails a week form customers begging for a supercharger-kit, they decided to go for it. And now they have one. Even for the ULEV CL/TL.
I bet we can perform even better than 30 mails a week. Do you think we have a good chance to get someone (Comptech, Jackson, etc) to go for it ?? Even after they said they don't have plans for now. I know this has been discussed a few times already, and that the engine room is a very big problem.
And there are a lot more 7th gen owners out there.

Cool, I just made senior member

it's a nice luxury sedan.... even with the super charger it says it ran 16s... i dunno i'd go with rsx s way before a v6 accord... and of course the v6 costs way more for maintanence.

Very true. But since it was only supercharged and had a new intake, you should be able to sqeeze some more out of it using other parts. But nowhere near the stuff you get out of B and K series engines. And the V6 accord it a lot heavier so running 14-15-16's is about all you can do I think.
Anyway, I don't expect a similar setup for our cars to produce much more than that. But I would welcome it much more that Nitrous, even if the power increase is a lot lower. But this is all theory anyway. It was interesting to read that with some other Honda engines, and not just ours, you can have the same problems if you really want to speed things up.

I bet my friend will be super happy about it. He always want more power for his V6 accord.

I bet we can do that, email comptech every week just so they will look into our car and make a SC.
