drill hole in headlights...

i am putting in a led that lights up blue into the headlight. this will make the main headlight look like it is lit up all blue ( illegal and rice i know, itll be to a switch ). I am wondering where in the headlight i should drill the hole to insert the led? im guessing it would be the same place that people put their Strobes in, so if anyone has dont that you help would be greatly appreciated.

Thx,
drew

make sure that whole is sealed airtight, b/c if you get moisture in there, you will be in need of some new lights

Why don't you just buy a pair of city lights. It does the same function (lighting up the headlight) but doesn't require any drilling.

Well... There really is no answer. It's up to you. Wherever you want to drill it should be fine. Just make sure you drill slowly and use a srill bit that's nice and sharp. The chrome headlight material isn't plastic. It's ceramic and it's brittle. Sort of like glass. Actually, I'm not even sure if you're going to be able to drill a hole with even a titanium drill bit. If all else fails try a carbide tipped bit. You'll need to take out the headlights of course. I would actually take apart the headlights too. I wouldn't want the bits of ceramic floating around in the headlight. Too much of a pain in the butt if you ask me.
