Rear Sway Bar Links broken....

Hey guys I was wondering if there are any aftermarket rear sway bar links that I could get to replace the factory ones in my '01 ex? I can get the genuine honda ones but I wouldn't mind getting something that may last a bit longer... Any recommendations? Anything at Oreilly or Autozone that would be worth my money?

Re: Rear Sway Bar Links broken....

The oem endlinks at honda are perfect and are good endlinks. They are actually better than the aftermarket ones.

I think gearbox does recommend the moog ones with grease tips.

X2. You will notice how much more robust they are when you see 'em. They're about $50 each at O'reillys.

I read about those Moog ones but I heard that they were kind of noisy. What kind of noise to they emit?

I think we need to wait for gearbox to butt in, or you could do a search on them

Re: Rear Sway Bar Links broken....

the moog is as quiet as stock. these are not bushings, they are just endlinks and they come pregreased with a boot over everything. so no chance of any noise. moog is also double the thickness of stock and has grease ports to add more later if needed. stock is too weak. i have moog links front and back with zero noises. my only noise during the winter comes from the front ES LCA bushings squeaking. now you do get lots of noise from those aftermarket metal endlinks like the ones in the other thread.
