Mystery Metal Revealed!
Earlier I talked about this seemingly useless piece of metal: Useless piece of metal?
It turns out that it's welded on and is used to help in a side impact. At least that's what it looks like it does. It gives the door a larger area in that one spot to crush the piece of styrofoam that's attached to the plastic door panel. Anyway, looks like I won't be taking it off.

<< side impact airbags are not a option on LX models, only on ex's. HAHA >>
According to my Honda Driver's handbook, it clearly states Dual Air-bags on a LX are available..

Yeah, I kinda don't know why HondaLuver mentioned this since I said that my sister's LX has side airbags. I can see them! I can touch them! They're real. I wasn't joking or anything when I said this.
