NEW HEADLIGHTS WANT HIDs BUT CANT FIND THE RIGHT KIND?

Hey guys,

I bought new headlights for my 03 civic ex coupe and im interested in getting some HIDs. Only problem is i cant seem to find what size bulb i need. the opening in the bulb port is smaller then on the stock oem headlight casing.

Heres a link to the lights ==> http://www.anzousa.com/mmproducts/he...da/121055.html

Any help would be awesome.

Thanks.

you would have to see what bulb they take first. most of those are either h1 or h3 halogen and simply putting in hid will not give a very good light output.

that's what gearbox is talking about. putting an HID kit in aftermarket housings generally results in poor light output. often worse than the halogens.

Re: NEW HEADLIGHTS WANT HIDs BUT CANT FIND THE RIGHT KIND?

it is illegal to use HID light in non HID headlights, there are more to HID lights then just bulb swap, original HID comes with "leveling" mech\electronics so you won't blind people on the road....
