I went into the local exhaust shop today and the had a whole rack of magnaflow mufflers well my question is, For $160.00 i can have the muffler installed with 2.25 piping all the way up would this be the same thing as the item in Group Buy? Is this Going to be Unbelievably loud or should i go ahead on this?

Sorry its kind of a scetchy question, but you guys havent ever let me down before

well the one in the groupbuy is better, since it uses a better bending method for the pipes.... i will say, if you got the 300 bucks, i'd go with the gb.... if not, i'd wait for the next gb, cause i got custom piping with a no name muffler and it is unbelievably LOUD.

I got the full catback and it's really quiet, but I think if you get custom piping w/o a cat and/or resonator, it's gonna be loud.

I have a Injen Race Division intake with custom pipe, no resenator and exhaust and its loud!! i want the more hollow sound like si's have!

ive got the magnaflow w/ 2.25" custom bent piping. I say get the system instead of the custom job. Mine buzzes like a beotch, and the exhaust shop "doesn't gaurantee(sp*) sound"
