Talking Just bought my first car: 98 H Civic EX

113,000 miles on it when I got it about a week ago for $4800

Carmax certified 1 owner with clean history, new muffler, one fender bender.

Turns out an MIT Professor had traded it in (we found his card in the glovebox)

VERY minor dings and scratches, no rust damage, no trunk water damage, everything on it works perfectly. Stock EVERYTHING in and out.

Replacing the water pump, timing belt, doing the tranny fluid drain/replace.

Thoughts or suggestions on maintenance?

You have every thing covered minus the Plugs, Cap Rotor, Wires, Tires and check all lights. Other than that you should be good.

forgot to mention it has brand new tires on it. And I'll check the spark plug wires later today!

Forgot to add. Check Tie Rods, Wheel Bearings, Brake Pads and Axles.

.....you might need to change the fuel filter?

I can't think of anything else really. It seems like you guys have it pretty well covered.

Nice Civic...I'd throw some tint on the windows man, it'll look great with silver!
