Fixing someone's hack job with new suspension

OK folks... I have spent several days reading posts and stickys doing what I can do become educated. I think I have read it all.....maybe don't understand it all, but at least I am hoping my questions will be intelligent. ;-)

Here is the deal.... I bought a 2003 Civic EX Coupe several months back. I did some research, but didn't know enough to really know what I was getting into with a lowered car. When I bought it, it had (or has) Skunk 2 adjustable coilovers on it with stock struts/shocks. It is sitting on the top of the tires.....looks great, rides like crap. I just decided it was what I would deal with, and hadn't thought much about it.

I put new tires on the rear when I got it, and jacked it up a few weeks ago to rotate the tires. When I did so, I looked at te suspension and with as little as I knew....could tell something was bad wrong. After research and having a couple mechanics look at it, the coildovers were put on incorrectly (to say the least). The lock nuts for the lower spring perch was not screwed on, and the top spring perches were the stock perches (needless to say the spring didn't seat in them at all). The popping in the front end was CRAZY... like the springs were getting so bound up, they were gonna break.

I have talked to Skunk2 and sent them pics, etc... and it appears the kit was either from another model car, or just had pieces not installed or missing (like the Skunk2 upper spring perches that are supposed to replace the stock ones.)

Anyway...... now I get to redo the scew up of someone else.

To the plan:

I plan to do:
Bilstein shocks and struts
Eibach Sportsline springs (I don't want prokit, because I like the bigger drop)

I did talk to Bilstein, and they said 1.5" drop was the max, but should be good.

I also plan to do a camber kit (yes I read the post about getting pimp slapped if I asked if I needed one LOL)

Couple questions:

1) Does the above setup sound good?
2) What brand camber kit should I get?

Any thoughts, suggestions?
Roomie

sounds good to me. You're a balla if you can afford bilsteins.

SPC or ingalls for camber kit.

Well..... one major problem.... the Bilstien's are not available! Looks like something I can't get until end of December!

As a second choice would you suggest Tokico Blues?

ROFL at the pimp slap! I'm riding on blues right now and I like them alot (over my crappy blown stockers). No personal experience with the bilsteins but from I piece together people agree that they are pretty much the best shock they make for our civics.

Rep applied for doing your research and not wanting to be pimp slapped.

AHH!!! Nevermind! I found and ordered the Bilsteins. EXPENSIVE, but I love Bilstein products.
