What are the first mods you did or will do?


Intake/Exhaust mods
- CAI
- 4-2-1 exhaust manifold
- cherry bomb muffler
- 2.5" piping

welcome to the site and the firsts mods i did were intake and a full exhaust. if you search around you will see plenty of threads with similar topics to this and opinions/reviews of pretty much any mod that you can think of beginning with.

I tinted my windows, put in a new grille, shaved all emblems but the honda one, threw on some 18" rims, and lowered it.

When my si rolls in im going to start with a full exhaust system, hopefully from magnaflow because eventually I plan on going turbo.(i dunno if its the best choice, but i hear good things about them) probably new headers because i want to make the car useful while daily driving with a turbo, any thoughts on that would be good too! haha

ps, and dont laugh, but I want an exhaust system that dosen't sound like a weed whacker, not TOO loud, and deep, not high pitched and whiny, i want my engine to be louder than my pipes. any suggestions?

Although I only suggest using genuine Honda OEM parts, I have to admit that I got a little on the wild side on my first modification and purchased these new windshield wiper blades that were in the color of my car. I dont know what got into me, but I got rather risky and purchased these instead of Honda OEM parts. But they are nice and a wild first modification that I made to the 100% factory civic of mine. I got such an adrenaline rush when I installed them, and I haven't had an adrenaline rush for nearly 20 years!

just got an 04 civic lx
put on 15" koning runaways
put on 15" b/c i did not want mess with the fuel consumtion or the speed gauge
have to buy seat cover the previous owner was a smoker

ended up revamping everything (some a few times) until I got the setup I have now..

^ Yay, an intake that filters absolutely nothing. Now that youve spent the 30 bucks, go back on ebay and search. AEM dry flow filter civic and buy one of those for that cheap intake. And presto, you have a sweet intake that actually filters something!

I lowered it first with Tein Basics, then got new sounds, and new wheels. Next on the list is a DOHC VTEC, new exhaust, turbo kit, bored cylinders, bigger pistons, aggresive cams, cold intake, bigger manifold and throttle body.etc

-took off very back muffler (for some sound and it sounds good...nice and deep!)
