btw when they warn about chipping paint do they mean on the body of the car directly above the wheel or do they mean the actual inner fender that no one will see?

Probably at the bend where the bending occurs.
It gets heated up so hopefully the paint can stretch out instead of crack.

50 + gas to get there... but the drive on macarthur all the way down to irvine was fun

my driver side fender actually had a bunch of chips and dents in it from rubbing ( I didn't know) and I completely expected more paint would chip as he rolled but none did.
