HID LIGHTS

I am about to purchase the Phillips HID conversion for my 2001 EX Civic, My question to anyone that has them are they hard to install and are they worth the money ?

Where and what kind did you get and is there any hints on installation? Are they really bright ????

very bright, a distinct beam. i got the purple bulbs and everybody loves them. i got the philips HID conversion (H4)

installing is easy. the wiring harness is made to fit OEM stock lights and the instructions make it easy...youll ahve no problem!

Well if you go to GROUP BUY...there is deal on for the HELLA/PHILLIPS HID kit...for like $560 or something...for dual beam...hahaha for the H4...and single beam is like $100 cheaper...I would give you the http:// but you have to be a member so sign up for free...and go check it out....I think the HID high beam would be killer...but mabey the high beam is only as strong as 2k2civicballers lowbeam...who know...but go check it out......

I've heard that because of our headlight housing design (designed for halogen bulbs), even retrofit HID kits create too much oncoming glare for other motorists?

i got my Philips HID for $385.95
if u r a member of GroupBuyCenter.com then u should be able to get lots good stuff for cheap

Very easy to install, just make sure you make a shield to block the light from hitting the high beam reflector if it doesn't already come with one.
