K20a3 Throttle Body Clearance, Help!!
Sup guys
I need help from those of you who have completed your k20 swap.
I have a k20a3 with a type-S intake manifold and i'm having trouble
with clearing the front support member with the base model throttle body.
the reason is that the spring sits on the oposit side from the type-s (against the support member) so the throttle body needs more space to clear.
I'm thinking that if i buy a space it may clear but i'm not sure. I really don't
want to buy a type-s throttle body (don't want to spend another $500). Also
is there a way to remove part of the throttle body spring (cruise control, not using it)?
Thanks

well if you are swapping into a 7th gen civic i dont see any reason why an oem manifold wouldnt fit. there are plenty of 7th gens running RBC intake manifolds and it fits perfectly. it brushes on the rad support and needs a little trimming but thats about it. if a RBC fits then there is no reason why the stock wouldnt fit
