How much money are you (realistically) willing (or can) invest?

Re: Got 91 Civic Need ideas

few years before i used to have a 91 civic si.. and the first thing i did was motor swap at that time i don't have that much $$ so i only put in a ls motor...and after i did some suspension work...rims..intake, header, exhaust and 4 wheels brake conversion..coz the body a very light so it's ok fast...year after i did some engine work...at that year the first 3 gears can still keep up with a stock Type-R but not after the fourth one...

actually. just the hatch and the sedan were in 91. there was the crx but he would have said crx.
there is the dx and si hatch.
and the lx and dx sedan
if its a hatch good and if the si then better.

i agree. save up for the swap. thats what i did... its not so easy in the dx/lx but the si is easier.

the si all you need is
mounts
shift linkage
ecu
axles
cable trans(easier than switching to hydro (even tho hasport sells a kit for that))

but dx/lx you need all that and you have to change your ecu wiring around. which from experience is a real PITA.

but do that. and then start modding from there. you will have a fresh fast platform to start from...
