I just got a civic LX that of course has a D17a1...I have a budget of around 1500-1800 dollars. Now, I do want to turbo it unless there is any other way to push around 200-250 hp. As long as my engine is safe and is going to last i would do just about anything. If there is a swap that will bolt directly into the car i would get a swap. Also, even though im new to imports and little 4 bangers i know that on a semi- stock engine i can only boost around 8 psi. Anyway, please lend me your ideas so that i can make my vic a little faster. Thanks guys

Welcome to the site you may want to check out these links to the 7thgen specific area. Good luck on ANY combination you mentioned and still have reliability! Plan on a LOT more cash than that! I have what most would consider a fairly reliable system and im in to it for more than i can recall but its upwards of $4,000+++
