On ebay they are selling a type s for $5,500. But it's everything, not just the motor. The car got into a nasty accident, I guees with a pole and he's selling the whole shell. Sounds like a good deal...someone should jump on it.

That's what I was thinking. Buy it and part the car except for the motor. I think that person can get atleast $2500 or more for all the parts. Wish I had that much to throw in it

Looked like it hit the rev limiter at 5500, I'd be suprised if the car had that fast of a throttle responce.

Seems like a pretty good deal to me. Frame is bent for sure, so the shell would be useless. You'd have to scrap the shell once you part everything out - which would cost some money. I suppose you could kill all the vins and then dump the car somewhere on the side of the road if you really really wanted to get rid of it with out having to pay any fees. Ahem, illegal.

Looks like a cool find for anyone in the flordia area.

TRIZ, I think it may be hitting the rev limiter because the airbags deployed and it's in limp mode. I remember reading somewhere that it will do that.

Well I think you can sel the shell to the scrap metal place. I know they give money for that. But I don't know if you can take it...lol.

Its really not in that bad of shape. There was one guy on here who's drivers side was messed up like that, and it was mostly repaired, except for the door sill part. Which he covered up with a lip kit, but when you opened the door you could see a big gap where it looked like a halfassed bondo job that grew an infection. But thats a shady video, def not a kinda car I'd feel safe driving if it would under go repairs, but for parts, its a pretty decent find overall.

For a SWAP that car is perfect .. for rebuilding HELL NO !!!

Plus i know a guy who owns a junk yard here in Ft. Lauderdale and he would take the rest of the scrap happily !!!

But again ... I just wish I had some money laying around .. I would definitley get this shyt and sell the rest of the peices on ebay ..

9) Driver side door
10) Side mirror


A whole lot of interior stuff which might not have been affected ... Air conditioner compressor for instance, engine mounts some of em ...radiator, blah bklah ... Its well over a $2500 deal to sell on ebay (keeping the engine)

yes, very nice find. Should only end up costing whomever buys it around 2 grand if they part it out.

Finishing the whole swap and doing it right their looking at about 3 grand, maybe a little more.

I'd love to have that instrument cluster, thats the kind I wanted orig, but picked up the 05 coupe version, which is still really dope.

I think the seats are only kinda good... kuz they have side airbags that most likely deployed, which is money. But if you have an lx or dx to put the seats into, your rolling.

In this image here:
you can see the steering wheel and the dash. The air- bag did not deploy. I don't know about side curtain but the dash does not look to be covered in the SRS dust from an airbag.

Plus if you already have a 5 lug conversion , that's more money to the bank. Even though this will take so long to sell on ebay or locally (Parting the car). It's a great buy for someone with the cash. I would buy it in a sec, plus no shipping charges for me. If anyone on this forum does buy it....I got dibs on the 5 lug swap. Finders fee...lol
