Switch Oil?

I'm driving a 99 DX sedan with 120k on it. I've been using conventional 5W-30 oil since day one and it runs fine, but I was wondering if switching to a high-mileage oil will do me any good/hurt my engine. I've heard different opinions and would like to see what you guys have to say.

Re: Switch Oil?

i'd just keep doing as your doing. 120k ain't high mileage on a honda.

Re: Switch Oil?

when i took my teg to honda they used 5w-20 said it was standard in all hondas and thats what they are using now on the econo boxes and sport compacts... same thing for my friend who has an 04 S2K.. but yeah if you have no probs with 5w-30 stay.
