Dented hood, ahhhhh
Dented hood, ahhhhh
I had my car parked at Walmart on Innes road in Ottawa tonight at around 830 while I was in McDonalds. Came out, some mother****er jumped onto my hood, huge dent. Walmart, being Walmart, doesn't have security staff working on a Saturday night. They're pulling up the footage tomorrow.
How much for a 2003 Honda Civic SI hood? Will it come matching my paint? How much to upgrade to carbon fibre? better make the best out of a bad situation, I guess.
What other kind of damage could I be looking at? Could he have ****ed with my suspension, wheel allignment?
A police report was also filled, although the cop told me the likely hood of me actualy getting charges pressed is slim to non. If anyone has info (you never know), just PM me. I'm pissed, my wisdom teeth come out Monday, this is the last thing I need.

Re: Dented hood, ahhhhh
this is one of thoes things your pissed about.. but then it fades away.
No, your suspension is fine, so is align.
If there isnt any footage, then your basically left filing a claim with ur agent. If there is, it'll probably be too blury to tell who it is...
Just leave the dented hood on for now, not hurting anything..
and was this guy fat? PIC?

ya it's not hurting anything. it just looks like ****. I just don't like having my car looking like that you know? I'm not gona' go through insurance, it's not gona' run me over 1k CDN anyways.
It's not a money issue at all. I love to drive, I love to take care of my care, it's just the principle you know? How can someone have such disrespect...

I here you man. It's bullshit when people trash your car because they drive a POS and are jealous. A CF hood is just about the same price as an OEM one. You can find OEM ones for cheap, but they're primered not painted.
Re: Dented hood, ahhhhh
I'm gona' end up dropping the grand for an OEM one. For **** sakes. If I EVER see someone touching anyones car, I guarantee you they will be on the the floor. I'm about 6'3, about 240lbs and in decent shape, (if anyone knows how to lower my seat so I can get some more headroom, let me know lol.) and I will seriously **** them up.

^ there was a DIY where someone took off the cover, and scraped about an inch of foam out the bottom of the seat so it sat lower for them to clear the headliner.
