I just got some 2003 Ep3 front seats to put into my 2000 Civic EX. However, these seats don't even line up with the holes in my car. Is there someone that could let me know exactly what i can do so that they will fit in my car. I am attempting to switch the seat pan and rails from my original civic seats with the EP3 seat pan and rails, but i am running into some problems. How do i do this? Anybody have helpful pics/info/tips/suggestions? I need help!?

Ooops!! you have a 2000, sorry cant help you on that, your best bet would be changing the using your oem seat pan and rails, and somehow custom it to fit the ep3 seat.

Well, so far i did switch the oem seat pan and rails to the ep3 seats, but the reclining mechanism is located on the oem seat rails and on the ep3 seats the reclining mechanism is located on the side of the seat. Houston....we have a problem. I have two reclining mechanisms smashing into each other and neither one comes off? What am i supposed to do?

You can find someone to custom fabricate a bracket to get it to fit. I've seen rsx seats in a 5th gen prelude before and that's what he did.

you need custom brackets to get these things to fit since the seats were not meant for your car. Hit up www.wedgeengineering.net and they will make custom brackets for you. its not cheap either

Are you sure they are ep3 seats?? I have 05's on my civic and its an 02 and it bolts on........

rsx seats will bolt up pretty well to 01-05's, but not so good with anything else.

Well, that argument was odd...? Anyway, like i said in the beginning the seats are from a 2003 Honda Civic SI Hatchback (EP3 Seats) and they are going in a 2000 Honda Civic EX Coupe. I tried switching out the seat pans and rails but i eventually found myself at a dead end, so my next option is to put everything back how it was and just switch the front legs of my OEM track rails and get them welded to the EP3 seats. Honestly, the front legs on the EP3 seats are what don't reach and line up with my car's bolt holes. The two legs on the back line up just fine. I think that'll be best...what do you guys think?

sounds rite. Good luck with the install. I still dont get why people with ep3s and rsx-s get rid of their seats but oh well it gives us some way nicer seats.

that sounds like it should work. and it sounds like you know what you're doing for the most part, so if you could get access to a welder and some cut off tools, i think you'd be set.

i have rsx seats in my 01 civic and they're still not bolted in all the way. winter time = lots of repairs. haha.
