i was wondering what kind of paint can i use on my dash? i know u can't just use any paint on the soft trim because over time it will crack, so what do you peeps recommend? i want my interior similar to platnumbomb's ride, but with more trim painted. please help. i searched and did not find n e thing. thanks.

they're a couple companies...
g2(look under parts section), foliatec?(something like that), and dupli-paint?(something with dupli in it). these are all made for dashes. they claim to dye the dash rather then to just putting paint on it.

<< check out my ride i did it and i used plasticoat paint and it has a glossy finish to it instead of a dull look that you will get with regular paint. >>
I couldn't find your ride in member rides...If u still need to look at some painting examples...check mine below...or Stylin2k1...or look around some more...

On my old 99 ex I used high temp engine pant. Washed the peices with soap and water, rinsed with rubbing alcohol. Then I put 4 coats of the spray paint on, let dry in between. Then I did 3 coats of clear coat, and let dry in between. Worked perfect and lasted on my car for 3 years. No cracking, fading or peeling.

i just saw your car, it looks pretty nice. are you planning on finishing the rest of the dash? and did you take it off(the whole dash) or just tape around it when you painted it?
