I have in the car a k20z1 with matching wire harness, trans, and KPRO with jumper harness. Downloaded software and loaded drivers for KPRO. Uploaded a base map and then tried to start car. Car cranks but doesn't start. Fuel pump isn't comming on and the key symbol on dash is blinking. Left immobilizer in Kpro unchecked to disable. I followed all of Xproductions wiring guides for harness and O2 Sensor. Please help can anyone tell me what is the problem or any suggestions. Thanks for any info. Also if there is anyone in new jersey who is fimilar with this swap and would like to fix my problem I am willing to pay you for your services. Thank you once again any info would help

Looks like you went all out on the swap- nice.

Usually when people check everything again they notice something they forgot, which was a problem. I'm still saving for kpro so I couldnt tell you how to use it yet. Got the right base map?

unchecked sounds like he didnt disable it to me? im thinking if you want to turn the immobilzer off you would check off the disable button?

also the key is gonna blink unless you get the car reflashed at the dealer. the immobilzer is prob cuttin the fuel so the car wont start.

Yes but how come the kpro with the immobilizer disabled let me start the car? Aslo I tried to check the box and uncheck the box and then uploaded to the ECU still nothing

Its pretty intuitive.... you check the box, it says 'Disable Immobilizer'.The light blinks on my dash, yet the car starts with the thing disabled.
Did you make any changes to the fuel system? Return conversion etc... if so make sure its all plugged back in right, and the system is pressurizing/flowing.
Beyond that, you're just gonna have to keep trouble shooting make sure that any connections that were modified in the swap are correct.

I ran a new fuel line from tank, How can I check if the system is pressurizing/flowing when the fuel pump has no power? And no the car won't start at all, even with it disabled?

well, if you changed things back there, then it means all those connections were apart.... so, check all the wiring. there's a plug on top of the pump, another on top of the cap. A broken wire in there would keep the pump from firing up.
As far as flow test, disconnect the line from the rail and aim it at a bucket, turn the key, then be ready to shut it off in about a second.

I understand what you are talking about with the flow test but if the fuel pump isn't turning on or getting power then there is no fuel going to the fuel rail correct? I will check all connections on fuel pump thanks. I do believe it has to do with the immobilizer therefore shutting down the fuel pump I just don't know where check wires on harness I don't have a wire schmatic.

double check all your connections and wires.. somethings not going right.. the immobolizer in our car is ignition disabled and not the fuel pump.. to test the immobolizer.. pull the spark plugs.. connect it to the coil pack.. and put it next to a ground source and crank it.. if it sparks then your immobolizer is fine.. it has something to do with the fuel mods done...

try pulling you glove box out...



see that little blue and red relay in that mess of wires.. there sitting right behind the metal bar that holds up the glove box... well when you turn the keys on you will hear a clicking from there.. thats the relay for the fuel pump.. i think.. im tired right now so kinda jus thinking off the top of my head.. if you hear the click then that means its sending power to the fuel pump... so somewhere around the fuel pump area is messed up or something.. lol

well i dont have k-pro myself but this is going to have to do with the wiring/imobalizer, since i have the exact same swap in mine, i got my type-s ecu reflashed at the dealer so it can start, but every now and then, the green key light turns on and blinks and when that happens my car can't turn on, so i have to wait like 20 seconds till it goes off, then,it does turn on. you should hit up (drivetofast) on here, hes more familiar with wiring and having these problems..

k.... i think the red one is the main relay and the blue is the fuel pump relay... when you turn the car on you should here both relays click..

now if they both click somethings wrong in the fuel pump area.. if one doesnt click then try this..

go to clip E.. which is the white clip with 31 wires on it... since you got the crossover harness look at it from the harness where the clip connects to the ecu... look at pin 1 and it should trace back to a green/yellow wire.. take that wire and apply 12v of power to it.. you should hear the relay make a clicking sound..

only thing i can see where this might be a little hard is that ur using the k20z harness... i think if you had the k20a harness it might be easier to trouble shoot since we dont have to worry about the crossover harness

Well guys I want to thank everyone who helped with the information and the long process is over the car fired for the first time in a long time. I didn't have my digital camera with me so I will take pictures tomorrow and post tomorrow night if I could figure out how. Once again thanks guys.
