Just dropped my ES1 on H&R sports and now when I turn the steering wheel it knocks pretty bad... I am positive I didnt bend the CV joint during the install... what is wrong?

this happened when i did my install... the spring isn't seated properly in it's perch... when you turn the steering wheel, it is moving around

I work at Les Schwab where we do alignments on our cars all the time. It's free... so is there a visible notch where they need to sit? We couldn't find it!

Okay so my buddies are working on the springs right now... what they're saying is that there isnt enough pressure to keep the springs into the perch because the OEM springs were so much bigger...

I promise it is making that noise because it's not sitting in the perch... the bottom of the spring should be stuck up against the perch... i had the exact same noise and i just took it apart, made sure it was in the perch right and made sure to index it correctly and never had problems with it again after i reinstalled it
