Exaust Rattle?

I own a 04 ex coupe that i have had for about a year and a half. Never had any problems. But recently i put a skunk2 cat back exhaust on it and the result was a horrible rattle under the passenger floor. i have heard of this problem before happening when it rains but mine seems so rattle in any weather. Is there any way i can fix this??

Re: Exaust Rattle?

that happened to me when i put my APEX'i WSII on.. I took it to a muffler shop to have them look at it. Their solution was to take off the midpipe, cut the pipe at the flange(s) and rotate it to completely clear the bottom of the car and weld it back on the flange.. That's what my problem was, at least..

try to check your honda exhaust system. it might be a loose muffler shield or exhaust hanger. it would also help to take it to a shop to have a thorough inspection and to see what's really causing the problem.. good luck

Re: Exaust Rattle?

thought i saw some other random member post something similar, with a link to that exact site claiming they needed help with something advertising that same discount honda parts store.. plus looking at the problem, its a similar problem that many people have with aftermarket exhausts where the midpipe vibrates against the frame, especially when its wet/raining out, causing a rattling sound from below the center console..

i apologize if it was a sheer coincidence
