Ok, I know we covered this before. The thing is that, Im a little confused and frustraded. I got my car lowered with H&R sports 1.5" then allinged. The car drove strait for about 2 days then it started to pull to the left getting worse each day. I took it back to the shop, they told my I needed a camber kit. They wont even put it back on the lift cause they think I'm wasting their time with out a camber kit. The thing is that I keep on reading on this site that if your car is not lowered more than 1.5" then it doesn't really need a camber kit. I know is better to have one but I keep on reading that the car is very driveable and strait without one. (not exeding 1.5")

Do most people on this site have camber kits on their cars that are lowered 1.0 to 1.5"?
If not, are they driving around fighting their cars to drive strait? (Like I am)

Well my Eibach Sportlines lowered my car 2in and my local alignment shop told me the camber is still within spec so I left it alone. If I have problems I guess Ill be buying tires and a camber kit. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]

i have neuspeed sports, dont have the camber kit and haven't gotten it aligned....my car drives straight as hell just like from the factory...the shop u took it to prolly f'd something up

Ok mmwhonda. But I want to know if I really need to spend $200 on a camber kit plus another $200 on labor. My funds are low after lowering the car and putting wheels and tires. What I want to know is, did the shop do a bad job allining the car or is my car F----- up! I cant even enjoy the $1500 in wheels tire and springs I put in. Some pole are saying their cars are driving grate without camber kits so what the hell is wrong with mine

try another shop bro. sounds like the one you went to doesn't know what they are doing. I would plan on getting the camber kit in the future though.

I have the neuspeed sport springs. When I lowered it I left it alone for a couple of months because it was still driving straight. but I noticed that it was eating up the inside of my front tires, so I had to install the camber kit. The problem now is that even after I allign it, it turns a little bit to the right. At least its not eating the tires anymore!!![IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/IMG]

The 7th gen civic is camber adjustable in the front. If you need more adjustment you can buy a narrower bolt from the Honda dealership. Front and Rear toe are ajustable. You need a camber kit for the rear and a caster kit for the front if you want to adjust caster. So with a 2" or less drop you can get by with nothing more than stock adjustments. Stock camber in Front is 0.00 +/- .75 and the Rear is -.75 +/- .75 . So you can have Front -.75 and Rear -1.50 and still be in specifications.

My car does the same thing. It is because your camber is off. You can get the Eibach alignment kit all the way around for under $200 bucks at Tirerack.com. Or call Rob at Tornactive.com and ask for the specrod kit.
