Hey guys,

I have the Type B front lip ready to go on my EM2 coupe... now for those of you who have aftermarket lips on, did you guys use double sided tape along the top of the lip? cuz i kno the factory ones have tape on them...

Also, same thing with side skirts... did you guys use tape at all to make it bond with the body nicely?

I have the same lip you can check out my pix on members rides forums.

Basically I put double sided tape adhesive tap on the points where I believed would hold it if I was to come across highway debris and knock it off.

I put tape along the lower inside part that hugs the bumper and along the side that are close to the wheel well[before the part that you put the screws.

Sideskirts the body shop siliconed my sides to the the small amount of space there was to put adhesive.

I hope i helped you a bit... my lip has gone through hell and back and still hasn't fell yet

thats awesome dude, thanks.. btw.. when you installed the front lip.. did you get these weird looking brackets for bolting under the lip to under ur front bumper? they look sumwhat like an "z" but stretched to 90 degree angles.

I have no idea how they bolt on.. and theres no holes on the bottom of the lip.. do you have any idea?

is it possible for you to take pics of under ur front end and send em to me?

nah i didnt put any clips with double sided tape on the front part there should be no problems bro. just remember the spots where i told you to put the tape cause if u just go crazy with it and tape it everywhere and u have to do something to ur car and take off ur lip....den that sucka will be hard as hell to take off.

hey XODUZZ, are you sure your lip is type b front lip? cuz mine doesnt look like that... mine is wider at the two sides... oh well.. it looks good tho...

mock up the lip and see where the brackets go, im pretty sure its two screws in each wheel well and the 3 or 4 brackets goin in the middle of the lip on the underside. then double sided tape where u see fit, like along the top edge toward the middle of the front bumper. but best way to find out where the brackets go is to place it up there , get someone to hold it, then get under the car
