break fluid flush?
i've had my car for almost 5 years now and i've never changed my break fluid. i'm not having any problems with my breaks but i noticed in my car manual it recommends changing the break fluid every 36 months. honda charges $99+tax for this service, which i think is kind of high. is this type of service really necessary for my breaks?
Yes, it's an Acura EL

Dude, you just need a friend (or a speed bleeder, cheaper than paying for the flush), a jar, and your new fluid. Don't bother paying to do it, I say just wait till the weather is warmer and get the car up on jackstands. Tell you what, I have to do mine too so if you can wait till spring-ish then you and I can have at it.
