4 10 inch subs

So one sub was not enough for me so I bought 3 more, when they are installed how much room do you think will be left if any? They are being installed in a line right by the back seats. The 3 amps are being inlayed into the bottom of the trunk but I just can’t visualize it. Also a friend said that I will need to upgrade the battery (I already guessed that) but will a new alternator also be a must? Just trying to figure out what I am getting my self into.

Why would you bother with four 10" inch subs?? why didn't you just buy a better sub?? Most people are satisfied with one JL W7, which is a pretty good sub.

i have one Infinity Bass Link II which is just a 10" Kappa Sub and a 10" Passive Radiator.. that was fine for me.. before i had two 10" MB Quart PWDs and that was way enough.. what kind of subs are you running?

btw battery, go optima yellow top.. as for the alternator i think you could just get a capacitor.

im running a single pioneer spl sub with a jl 500/1. Its a little too much for my tastes so I have the gains WAY down. I dont understand why people need to set off alarms with their bass.

I would have done 2 12". I have an infinity kappa 12.1 matched with an alpine amp and thats plenty of bass for me and sounds real clean too. As long as your inside the car that is, gotta fix the dam trunk rattle though

i got a cute setup....yes cute....anyway its only 2 P1s 12'' but it kicks *** Sealed box and a 1650 watt amp. For our civics its just fine i have the setting on bass low on amp and radio. When i have the volume at 35 (1-62 on pioneer) its perfect its orgasmic but at 62 the bass tickkles your nose and i cant see striaght i also have a bass controller which comes with most rockford amps. Ill post pics up tommorow.

i just put in one 10" rockford puch and it hits. still running a messed up 460 watt amp for the time being. Last setup was 3 10's and before that 2 12's. Just having that one punch does the job for me.

Just installed a mtx T-5510-04 10" sub and mtx tc4001 class d mono amp. Plenty of bass for me. Sounds very rich inside the car but can barely hear it outside. Exactly what I wanted.

Same with mine. Almost no noise or trunk rattle outside.
