well i got my new screen and i have it all set up in the car but theres no sound at all coming from it...suggestions on what it could be? im pretty sure i have all the wires that are supposed to be connected, connected. im a n00b at this and i know its real broad...but throw out some suggestions on what it could be and ill take a look at it in the morning..thanks

well pretty broad question and not enough info. start with does it have power? if not why? are all of your connections good do y0u have amps do they have power are the rca cables connected are the speaker wires connected and connected properly are you turning the volume up.

i dont mean to sound like a smart *** but it late and i am a little cranky so start with all the connections and make sure they are in the right spot with a good connection. hope this helps you out and you find the problem.

will everything is connected like how it was on my old sony. there is power, the volume...itry to turn it up but still nothing. my amps do have power. im so frustrated ill go out to look at it in a little bit

Are the speakers running off the deck or are all of them off your amplifier? Many times I have seen one lone blown speaker shut down the built-in amplifier on a deck. Try hooking the speakers up one at a time and see if there is a speaker that shuts audio down when it's hooked up.

actually i got it now but its off the deck and not my amp...i have an amp in my car not doing anything right now
