Fog light not working- need help

Hello..

My passenger side fog light just died.
Nothing is wrong with the bulb.
I just checked it and the connector to the bulb gets extremely hot and it melted the plastic around it.
Do you know what is the problem?

water mightve gotten into the connector ... u'll probably have to get a new connector to get it to work...

I just checked with dealership and the connector itself is 80 buck...

you can get it cheaper somewhere else for sure... if anything just goto any autoparts place and pick up a 9006 connectors and dremel the connector a big so that it'll go into the bulb socket...
